Privacy policy
We collect as little as we can. This page explains what, why, and your choices. Last updated: October 2026.
Who we are
Little Forage is an independent publication run by one person in the UK, who is responsible for your data. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address, if you email us, so that we can reply. If we start a newsletter, we will use sign-up addresses only to send it.
- Basic visit data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
At the time of writing the site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Our legal basis
We send the newsletter with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We run the site securely on the basis of our legitimate interest in doing so.
Who we share it with
We use Cloudflare to host the site and to forward email sent to our contact address. If we start a newsletter, we will name the email provider here before collecting any addresses. We do not sell your data.
Affiliate links
If you click an affiliate link, the retailer or travel company may set its own cookies to record that we sent you. Their privacy policies apply once you leave our site. See our affiliate disclosure.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Before launch: have this page checked against your actual setup (email provider, analytics, contact details). It is a plain-language draft, not legal advice.
